National Apprenticeships Week

The 6^th- 12^th February 2023 is National Apprenticeship Week and students from all years at STS will be learning about apprenticeships and technical/vocational pathways. 

Are you a parent or guardian of a child who is unsure about their next steps?   Are you fully aware of the different opportunities that may exist for them to earn and learn?   Or are you thinking about your own future career pathways?

• The Kent and Medway Careers Hub have launched an online guide to Technical and Vocational pathways, including useful information on routes into Apprenticeships, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).  To help you understand and navigate this resource, there will be a live webinar at 6PM on Tuesday 7^th February  open to parents, teachers and young people.  To register for the event, please visit:   kentchoices/NAW23

• BBC Bitesize is delivering a  live careers show on Wednesday 8 February at 2pm, from the Science Museum in London.  Students, teachers and parents are invited to join in with this interactive show, featuring: apprentices from across industries a live Q&A with experts and activity suggestions to get involved with
