GCSE Results Day 2026

We are proud of the GCSE achievements of many of our students today. Our Year 11 students have shown strong character especially during their recent years at STS. We are pleased that some subject areas saw grades improve compared to 2025 and we are especially pleased with the excellent results in the Creative subjects and some of our Vocational qualifications. There were some outstanding individual performances:

Lauren McManus achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 and above including two Grade 9s in Science and three Grade 7s

Eilis Peters also secured eight GCSEs at Grade 6 and above including two Grade 8s and three Grade 7s

Elizabeth Strong achieved eight GCSE qualifications including three Grade 9s in Maths and Science and two Grade 8s

Riley Morris achieved eight GCSEs including four at Grade 7 and above

Nancy Lewis secured eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including a Grade 9 in History and a Grade 8 in Drama

Phoebe Wilson achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including two Grade 7s

Lewis Parfitt achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including six at Grade 6 and above

Ethan Bennett achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including two Grade 9s

Oscar Davison achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including six at Grade 6 and above

Lucas Evans-Jarrett achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including two Grade 7s and three Grade 6s

Eva Porreca achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including a D* (Grade 9 equivalent) in Hospitality

Evie Maycock secured eight GCSEs at Grade 5 or higher including five at Grade 7 and 6

We are extremely proud of the dedication, commitment and resilience that these students have shown in order to achieve the results needed for the next steps of their journey. Our students are moving on to a wide range of educational providers in the local area and beyond. We look forward to seeing what they achieve in the coming years and hope they keep in touch with the school.
