Our Year 7 Sandwich Technology football players were given the VIP Mascot treatment on Saturday 8th February for Ramsgate Football Club first team at home vs Phoenix Sports at the WW Martin Community stadium. In front of a brilliant crowd in 1127 supporters, Year 7 students were provided with the opportunity of being VIP mascots for the day. They walked out with both sets of teams before the game kicked off. The Year 7 students and their families were provided with complimentary tickets and complimentary food before the game. Each Year 7 student who attended the game also received a complimentary matchday programme signed by Manager Ben Smith, Captain Joe Taylor and the rest of the team. The students had a great time, they were interviewed on the pitch and took part in a penalty shootout with Reserve Goalkeeper Henry Newcombe in front of the crowd and the students were victorious 7-4!
