SEN

Sandwich Technology School currently provides additional and/or different provision for a range of needs, including:

  • Communication and Interaction difficulties, for example, autistic spectrum condition and pupils with speech and language difficulties.
  • Cognition and Learning difficulties, for example, dyslexia, dyspraxia, moderate and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, for example, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
  • Sensory and/or Physical Disability, for example, visual impairments, hearing impairments, processing difficulties, epilepsy.

For the admission of pupils with diagnosed or presenting learning need, reasonable adjustments will be made to ensure that the pupil is a fully included member of our school community.

We believe that all pupils have a right to access every opportunity that school offers; teachers and support staff are key to enabling pupils to do that.
