Pupil Premium and Catch Up Funding
Pupil Premium is funding that is available for students that have been ‘looked after’, adopted or have had free school meals in the last six years.
The main objective of Pupil Premium is to reduce the gap in attainment between those eligible for Pupil Premium and those students presumed to be from more advantageous backgrounds, to give students an equal chance in life and a positive future, to raise aspirations and confidence.
